We are a family business based near Alnwick in Northumberland.
Our chef, Iain Inkster, has over 20 years experience in catering. He started his career in Warkworth, moving on to restaurants in Cheshire before returning to his home town to help his parents in their hotel in Alnmouth. Following his parents' retirement, he ran the catering franchise at Alnmouth Golf Club at Foxton Hall for two years and now specialises in outside catering.
We have catered for functions from 10 guests up to 150 guests, including private homes, village halls and the Alnwick Playhouse. We offer a variety of options, including chef-only service or food-only service as well as our fully catered service.
If you would like to entertain without the worry of catering single handed, you can hire Iain to prepare and serve the food in the comfort of your own home. You may prefer to write your own menu or let Iain offer the benefit of his experience.
If you have a big event on the horizon, we can take the strain and leave you free to enjoy the occasion. We can provide a hot meal, or hot or cold buffet to suit your taste and budget. Iain has catered for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and funerals and can help you choose a menu depending on your taste and budget.
We provide hot and cold buffets, tailored to your own taste and budget. We have included a few ideas on this website - but we have many hundreds more. Iain will be happy to discuss your event with you whether it is for 20 people or 120, to be held in a village hall or marquee.
We do not have fixed menus and welcome your suggestions. We can incorporate most ideas - we don't say all ideas in case you see that as a challenge!
